The company provides cotton lyocell, bamboo, tencel, silk, modal, and viscose; organic cotton, fair trade yarn, and contamination-free yarn products; compact, m??lange, fancy, slub, acrylic, and hand-knitted yarns; cotton, PC yarn, yarn, and fibre dyes; and cotton lycra and gas mercerized products. It also manufactures and sells threads and garments. In addition, the company engages in lending and investing activities. It also has operations in the European Economic Community, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Mauritius, and the Middle East. The company was formerly known as Mahavir Spinning Mills Limited and changed its name to Vardhman Textiles Limited in September 2006. Vardhman Textiles Limited was incorporated in 1973 and is based in Ludhiana, India.
